FSYC Womens Auxiliary Shopping Trip to Lake Geneva was May 1st

Attn:  All married members, the VebMeister suggests a personal trip for all husbands:  go to Gander Mountain or Cabelas to catch up and even things out ! This sounds like a very dangerous annual event ! Beth goes to IKEA, I go directly to Cabelas and I always win! Nice skylights too!

Thanks Again,

Denny Quella - Grounds Chairman

Thanks to Tom Michels and family for running his now Annual Wii Bowling Tournament - so who won the overall and who had that virtual 300 game ??

Corn - Brat and Auction coming - Sept 6th  - Details coming  - Start that Fall Cleanup of your Boat - Garage and Basement - Food will be ready around 3:00 and the Auction starts at 4:00 - 6:00 with Gordon Lightfoot as the entertainment starting around 7:00 singing the those great Canadian Folk Songs - OK - another rumor but maybe it will get you down here and have some fun on the first Saturday in September - mark those calendars. CORN AND BRATS02

Excellent job on the Harold Waege Memorial Fish Boil by Andy Permans Crew -

Joan’s Mustard Gravy is posted on the First Mate Page. fishboil

Pictures of our 4th of July Independence Day Party. 1800 tickets were sold - Oh, that must be a TYPO - well, it is an intentional typo but 180 tickets WERE sold. Click on Uncle Sam to see the work in progress.

Kudos and Congrats to Matt Ketchum and family for leading the way on a successful party along with the Linleys, Permans, Nelsons and the rest of the entertainment committee. Big Thanks to the great cooks, the tent crew for the work, and all of those running all of the kids games - tossin balloons and eggs. They had a blast. Rylee Mohr, a cute as a button guest of Matt Ketchum kylee smallsam chickenwon the Big Wheel Race with Big Time Speed and Fire in the Eye Determination and was awarded the 1st Place Big Wheel.

Pictures are posted on the Photo Gallery Page with the exception of Thong Contest which was at 3:30 am - The R.C.C. or Rumor Control Center stated that there was a tie between Commodore Jim and Vice Commodore Jeff. I am Not quite sure why our REAR Commodore Chuck did not want to get in on this action - sounds like it would have been right up his alley - a shoe in and had the Title to bootie, I mean to boot.

A Special thanks to everyone that did NOT take pictures of this event.

A Special Adios and a farewell to members since 03’. Fair winds to you and your family.  Darrel and Jennifer Vliegenthart have moved to GA. - May the boating be fine down south and the new accents understandable.  Like, ya’ll got a cold one ??? Hey this BBQ squirrel is good!   Take care Darrel and Jennifer - check back with us often ! I am going to miss him for the LUAU - Darrel in a Grass Skirt - Sweet!

Bobbie - the new and temporary lead songstress for the band Yahoo belts one out for the crowd & it was not even a Karaoke Night! ( do we have those ) She is shown without the now infamous impromptu dancin wooden things that go on the bottom of the chairs that someone was attempting to sell at the auction but were clacking all night long - well, hope she kept them

Well, Clyde has come and gone but I I think we will be seeing more of Clyde and his excellent one man band!  By the looks of that hat on the floor in front of you we all enjoyed the music! Maybe a new feature for  FSYC of having some weekend entertainment on a regular basis - good idea by the Vice of Vices - Let Jeff Raffini know if you know of similar local artists willing to play for tips and get experience and exposure.

Well, Bobbie was a no show but we did see some of the Raffini clan up there taking her place for a couple of Eagles songs

Clyde will be back in November at the New Members Party.

Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes!  Let us all Pitch in and get involved in YOUR Club like the Good ol Days!
